The Attic

This quilt was pieced and quilted within 2 months. Made for my son's 17th birthday, it portrays the animals he really loves -- terrapins.	As with my daughter's quilt, the T-shirts are remnants of days gone by, and memories to carry into the adult future.
This quilt was made for my eldest daughter for her 15th birthday. She had outgrown her kindergarten quilt and needed something that would take her into her adulthood. I chose to depict the activities and sense of adventure she has, as well as her love of quietude and contemplation.	A collection of old T-shirts makes up the back of the quilt. All of the T-shirts commemorate events and activities of my daughter's life.
