Anna-Maria Lawrie, a resident of Prince George, British Columbia, uses a variety of media to portray her subjects. Whether with fibre or traditional media, through the use of realism or abstract concepts, Anna-Maria's art is unique. She creates pieces for her own enjoyment and hopes that others will also find something to pique their interest when they view her work.

At the moment, Anna-Maria is working on a Master of Education program in Arts Based education through Simon Fraser University. Because of the demands of the program, new artwork is mostly being made for class assignments. You can check out what she's been busy with at her blog Art by AM.

The M.Ed program will finish in the summer of 2011. Please drop by occassionally to see if anything new has been posted here, but don't be disappointed if there aren't any changes while school is in session.
